If it's not in the first 10 pages then there is little point in knowing. The difference between #1 and #11 is probably quite huge (for a competitive keyword) but the difference between #50 and # 200 is likely to be minimal?

There are quite a few bits of software that can do this for you but the better ones cost a bit - google it! eg keyword elite

My personal favourite which takes a different approach (but it is limited to google/com and subject to data lag) is semRush - in fact it is quite good fun looking at some of the bigger site results. The neat thing is that it focuses on the top 20 google results which is where the money is. The big benefit of this approach is that it shows rankings for keywords that you would never have thought of.

You can also glean some useful info from Google webmaster tools but again limited numbers and data.

    At work, I use this:

Advanced Web Ranking - search engine ranking, website position software

It's pretty powerful; worth the money imo (although granted, it's not my money). It tracks everything I want to track (competitor movements for keywords for example, as well as our own) and makes reporting easy, which is always useful in a commercial environment.

At home I use this in Firefox:

Rank Checker - Track Google, Yahoo! Search, & Microsoft Rankings Free

Free and does the job perfectly well for the major search engines. You can save keyword lists of course which is the main benefit.
