Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on my site which i started up after reading Smingles inspiring thread for newbies. The site has been hovering at the top of page 2 for a couple of months. However, i have started adding articles to ezine and have quite a few posts on relevant sites with high pr and have done some other link building, I have also added a bit of unique content but now the site has dropped to the bottom of page 4. Can anyone tell me if im doing something wrong?

I should add, the site im talking about is the one in my signature below. Any advice you will give me would be highly appreciated . . .

Great idea with the "ways to keep warm..." on the fourm.
Should bring your site some attention and links.

Focus on related sites and commenting etc.. build up a relationship with bloggers and when you make a new post, let them know.

I have a client in the "outdoors" niche so drop me an email via my blog if you like as i may have a few contacts you could use.

Yeah - Google will pick you up and play with you for a little while, to see how you go - then get bored of you, then come back to you... just stick in there, your fresh content etc should do you good in the long run.

thanks for the replies everyone! I'm ranking 3rd today from what i can see. I will keep adding content and working on other sites and hopefully i'll get some sales soon Although im sure it will be a long hard struggle to make any real money im going to stick with it and see what happens . . .

add fresh content as many as you can but make sure you do not submit the same article to article directories... articles in your blog must be different to articles you are submitting to directories to avoid penalty.
