Hello,
A question for the SEO guru's out there.
I want to optimise my website for search engines but not sure whether to SEO the whole website and all pages around a particular keyword or
should I optimise per individual landing pages on many different keywords?
I have a mobile comparison website (www.easilycompare.co.uk) and confused whether I should create landing pages for PAYG, Pay Monthly etc... and optimise these for the long tail of keywords as competition for "mobile deals" is v.high!
Let me try and explain what I mean...
A website sells product A and product B.
Is it better to create individual landing pages for each product and SEO each page with its targeted keywords?
This would lead to a link/folder structure like www.example.com/product-a/ and www.example.com/product-b/
Or is it better to stick to one set of keywords and try your best to try and optimize for that throughout?
Another question arises, is it better for the page to be closer to the domain in the URL name or is it better to have descriptive but more sub-folders?
for example, is www.example.com/product-a better? or http://www.example.com/section-a/sub...n-a/product-a/ ?
one last question, what type of URL is better for SEO:
www.example.com/product-a or www.example.com/product-a/
Many thanks for any guidance received. I know this is a big area...
