Case senstive?

Can anyone tell me how google treats the same url written in a different case.

Does google know that these are the same url? Or should I be ensuring that all back links are in lower case.

www. mysite.com/Page.htm

www. mysite.com/page.htm

Subdomains are case sensitive.

Google counts them as seperate link hence better to have common structure throughout the website to avoid the duplicate content penalty. For me I always use the small letters in the url structure as its easy to remember the same.
