Without being negative, there are so many FREE directories, what will your directory offer that will make someone make payment ?

I only pay for directory submission if it's a small fee on a niche directory - and I'm not even so sure how much SEO benefit that has for me.

I do agree with all the above replies. There are number of FREE directories available for submissions. Everyday there are new directories added in the list of free directory list. Why would anyone pay you ? What will your directory offer ? etc etc. If you want people to pay for directory submission then you will have to improve your directory rankings, traffic and google page rank. These are the main factors considered by the people before paying for directory.
