How long does a link take to be counted as a link?

Going around in circles with a pretty stupid concept in my head but the question is interesting!

How long does a link have to be present on a page for google to count it as a valid backlink?

1 crawl?

or the crawl when google updates its backlinks?

Would be dependent on next time Google crawls site, and site structure.

Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) allows you to view crawl errors that may occur when Googlebot crawls (useful for detecting broken links or removed pages), statistics on crawling and indexing, inbound & internal links.

Couple of options you could try:

• Bookmark your website in digg or delicious, etc. to force Google to crawl.
• Use GWT to verify your website, create and submit a Sitemap.

I thing its taking more than one month.. Bcz check many of mysite.. showing last month BL.. not any of this month
