I thought that July was just quiet, but I now see that I have disappeared from Google #1 and can't even find my site as deep down as page 7!
I see that on 27th June my visitors plummeted.
It's a static site that isn't updated. don't really know what else I can update it with!
Suggestions and advice more than welcome!

2 possible reasons:
(1) Nikon is trademarked.
(2) Only 10 out of 11 of the pages seems to be in Google's main index. This page is not: Nikon D90 Movie Mode. This could be because of a number of factors, including: duplicate content, bad neighbourhood/spammy links (e.g. Free Web Bargains: Report Link), etc.
In the first instance, and to confirm any of the above it may be best to contact Google and ask why: Reconsideration request
Thanks
I have just started using wordpress and am having some good results, so thought I might scrap the site and redo it in wordpress, so that I get all the advantages of pinging. Do you think that would be too drastic / detrimental? I was just thinking perhaps it wouldn't be coz I've dropped so far down anyway. Thoughts?
Getting new design with new template can harm your present page rank. That’s the only detrimental of changing over to wordpress. But I think it would be temporary and page rank is not a factor. But it has some other benefits like free SEO and pinging plugins which help a lot.
