Sorry if this is a bit noob of me, but i have written a couple of articles i want to submit for SEO reasons.

If i submit the same article to multiple sites, am i going to do more harm than good in SEO terms? (Going to assume it will be picked up as duplicate content?)

Also, how much does article size matter? I have a large piece i did a while back and i could easily split it into 5 seperate articles. Would this be more sensible than one massive one?

Won't hurt you but won't do much good either.

Depends how good it is and where you post it. Some articles can do well in search results in their own right - that's what you want in an ideal world.

Bear in mind that a lot of article sites nofollow the links now - only main one worth submitting to is ezine, although with some you can use affiliate links which is something a lot of people don't think of
