    Hi,

I have made my website with the following page title as:

"OakLivingRoomTables.co.uk" - This Is My Website"

Is this the best way to do it. Does it help you do it:

"Oak Living Room Tables - Homepage"

Is it possible to boost your ranking with a certain page title layout?

    Example:

PineLivingRoomFurniture.co.uk - Pine Living Room Furniture

    http://www.pinelivingroomfurniture.co.uk

    Personally I would do this:

    <title>Pine Living Room Furniture</title>

and yes the page title is important, but I would consider a page description as important if not more so.

I usualy write the page description first, which should make sense but include keywords. Then I create a shorter version which puts across the same message for the title tag.

Im not sure if it matters how you format the title tag, but you should remember this information is generaly the first thing a potential visitor will read when visiting your site, so be concise.

I'd suggest that you add a links page and start exchanging links, your homepage has grey bar PR, means you don't have too many incoming links :/

Title tag is the most important tag for SEO purposes, much more so than meta description or H1 etc. But it is also the most important thing to get searchers to click on your site when they are viewing the search results.

I would take a look at what your competitors are doing and pay attention to the words being used in the top PPC ads too.

For my affiliate sites I try to include the word "Buy" in all of my page titles as this is what you want them to do at the end of the day. Maybe use something like this for your homepage title:

Huge Range of Pine Living Room Furniture | Buy Online Today

Buy Pine Living Room Furniture Online | Delivers Direct To Your Door

High Quality Pine Living Room Furniture For Sale Online Now

and then for your subpages something similar:

Buy Pine [Bookcases/Coffee Tables/Mirrors etc] Online And Make Huge Savings

    Thanks,

Does it help mix up the title tags or to keep one part and change everthing else.

    For example:

    Amazon.co.uk - Amazon Toy Store
    Amazon.co.uk - Amazon Book Store

Corner TV Units - For Plasma Screens

For SEO purposes it is essential to have your keywords within your page title, this is an important part of the SEO strategy.

It is also very important to ensure that every page has a different, and totally unique title tag.
