So long as you aren't playing tricksy games, you should be fine, it's exactly the kind of thing a 301 was meant for
I have used a keyword rich domain name to start a website and is now ranking well in Google - it is an exact search term for .org.uk TLD.
I would like to set up a 301 to direct traffic to a single word generic domain in the same niche but with the TLD .cc - I will use google master to say that domain is UK orientated.
Has anyone got any experience of doing this? Did you still rank for the exact term?
Would you do it?
Thanks
