We have a website which is a quite basic price comparison site (based on data feeds). We have the budget to rebuild it properly. Site functionally will be similar to Twenga, Kelkoo, Pricerunner etc.

Now, bearing in mind SEO aspects I have a couple of questions:

- is it likely to be ranked (i.e. top 10-20 results) for some search terms or this is rather impossible taking into account competition and type of website (i.e. content issue?)?

- we have the ability to design and create websites, unfortunately lacking SEO related expertise so would be looking for an agency (or a consultant) who can advise what needs to be taken into account and how to rebuilt this site. I'd imagine there would be some initial consultation required and assessment whether it's worth doing and ongoing support during the rebuild stage.

I hope it makes sense - looking forward to some suggestions and potentially recommendation in terms of SEO consultants/agencies.
