Hey is there any one who can tell the way to get backlinks from social bookmarking sites and what are the process of getting that, is there any lists..?

how it helps to improve sites value.

If you socially bookmark your stuff at multiple sites....you will get backlinks from those sources...some may even be dofollow. Also you gain trafic which helps you Alexa rankings....all these factor into increasing SERPs

1. Book mark you site.....on popular...bookmarkin sites..lik digg, sprul, google bookmark, delicious, diigo..and many more..

2. than ping the bookmarks.....while sharing your digg links.....on pingomatic.com


You will have good trafic coming your way......its like let the world know that you updated some thing...

I'm jumping on this thread here, but hopefully if you know the answer to my question it may help Shelly too. My question is regarding bookmarking accounts/profiles, and tripping Search Engine filters: hypothetically, say I registered on 10 bookmarking sites, with 4 different profiles on each (even if the posts were staggered), all pointing to the same site would that trip any filters, and also would it be worth doing in the first place? (I'm, trying to promote a site, but 'getting regular links' is almost impossible as the area is niche (but not so niche that there isn't enough competition) - would appreciate any help

Social bookmarking is very simple you shoud make account acording to your keywords make listing it will be more effective if you send direct massege to this community.

I always add my website to social bookmark but never ping the bookmarks on pingomatic.com. Could you explain more detail how to do that?

You can also try signing up to 'ping.fm' - it allows you to get to loads of different sites, including bookmarking sites, from just one site. Once it's setup (& it takes a while) you can get the message out to loads of places v easily.

You are far more likely to flag up on the social bookmarking sites who, by and large, care about the integrity of their operations.

Simply not worth it.

To generate a traffic and backlink. I suggest you not to just do social bookmarking but along with it also do directory submission as well as article submission. This will help you generate a quality and ample amount of backlink as well as traffic.
