Does Your Site feature Product Comparison?

Hi! I am an ex-employee of a large UK price comparison site but moved on a while ago now. But anyway, I still have a fondness and detailed knowledge of the sector so I decided that I could have a go at this website thing myself and have started to blog about comparison websites.

To try and make the site a little more interesting I would love to feature hobby/small comparison sites as well as the obvious "big boys" of the sector.

So I'd love to hear from you if you run a site that features some kind of comparison engine, ideally something niche and original that people can't get from the main sites.

I would happily publish a post - either written by you or I can have a stab at it, or perhaps we can co-write something - that would link back to your site several times. I'd like to know a bit about how the site came together and why you felt there was a need for it etc. Why you think people should use your site and not others etc. What makes yours the best.

To save your time, here is what I'm thinking:

• Niche Comparison Site
• Supply some information about the site, you can write a whole article if you like
• Complete sites that are up and fully running
• Let me know what your site offers that others don't - maybe specialist knowledge of the sector etc
• Must be of a reasonable quality - not just a template or full of guff content

In return it would be nice to have a backlink from your site, something like "as featured on best price comparison sites". But if you give me a good article and your site is full of awesome then I'd be happy to publish it without a return link.

hmm - took a peak and went to the Magic Price Comparison site to be greeted by a big warning not to view site and message that the virus was blocked

I suppose that will teach me for being nosy!

Well, at risk of the thread going off topic, I don't have any such problem. Either your virus scanner is over active or mine in under active.

You don't use AVG by any chance??!!

If anyone is worried, use one of the many free scanners out there - even google has one, you can test the site here.

Either way, posting up false positives is very unfair to legitimate sites, please be 100% sure otherwise you are hurting someone elses business.
