Thread: 99 pages indexed... but can't find my site in google anywhere.

    after submitting a sitemap, i have 99 pages indexed.

    but when i do site:mysite in google, its not there at all....

    have i been banned?

    When did you submit your site? Sometimes it takes a while to appear in the SERPs, especially if it's not linked to.

    It sounds like you're describing the sandbox effect - as davesearl describes it can take a while for a site to appear against real terms if it's fairly new and hasn't had much buzz or acquired many links. Try some link building - even if it's just talking about your site on social media or doing some free PR. Try to acquire links from partners or companies you work with. All of this will get you appearing for traffic terms more quickly

    I totally agree with "carleisenstein" the site is in sandbox. It take time to get indexed and in google. It is just a procedure of google, each and every site has to pass through sandbox. Mean while just start your offpage optimization this will help you to get indexed soon. Try to create good quality backlink through social bookmarking, directory submission as well as article submission.

    its not true your site is not in sand box when your site will be in sand box then you will not get any information from your google webmaster tool. Checkout your domain coming links to your site.
