Not for me your not. Assume from your previous threads the site in question is designermensclothes/co.uk? Your showing as 2nd to bottom on page 2 for a UK search and last on page 2 for "the web". Are you logged in to your google account when you search?

I would expect a boost in SERP's due to the keywords making up your domain name and also the fact that if you have only been live for about a month there is often an early boost in rankings which settles down with time. I see from your previous threads you have made a couple of sales, keep working at it and don't be too disheartened if your rankings plummet and your traffic dries up on and off over the next few months while you do the google dance.

In my experience Affilistore sites will not continue to rank well after the initial boost unless you work hard at introducing unique content, also any plans on moving away from the standard template that ships with affilistore?

thanks... i just checked it again and i'm third from bottom on page 1 for me... thats when im not logged into my google acount.

does google change about the search results for different people?

i'm slowly trying to modify the affilistore template, but to be honest, its such a clunky script, but does what i wanted it to. the template is really badly designed, its all images.

From my experience the apostrophe makes no difference. I dont think Google has any preference.

Search for "men's clothes" and it asks if you meant "mens clothes"

Search for "womens shoes" and it asks if you meant "women's shoes"

I personally optomise without as I dont use them when searching myself, and as I said above Google seems to deliver the same results, and when it does try and correct you there doesnt seem to be any set right or wrong.
    Nothing to see here.

To view unpersonalised results you can:

Use Google Chrome (CTRL / SHIFT / N) and go incognito

    OR

FireFox with the "Google Global" addon you will need to (Sign out of any Google accounts / Disable customisations based on search activity / Remove your cookies)

Thanks for that, awesome contribution to the thread. Hope your SEO is better than your grammar.
