signature backlinks - spam or not?

I have a question that whether the signature backlinks of forums be considered as a spam or not ? if the thread grows and signature is replicated again and again . and also if multiple messages are put with same signature from same domain.

If you've got hundreds of forum posts spread across multiple forums with the same signature link then yes

As long as you contribute to the forum community you will not be considered as a spammer, you should build your credibility on forums this will be very beneficial for you

You can post 100 of forums but try to put deference deference posted & threads.

I think in the body area most of the forums does not allow backlinks you can only give in the signature area
