Yes this definitely works. Its just weird that my PR isnt increasing although I have submitted to more than a hundred directories that are PR 5 and 6. Does it take a long time for PR to change?
Hi guys, Im new to this affiliate site. I am working on this site http://education-leads.org as well as http://www.undergroundleads.com. I seem to be showing up in search engines, however I'm not getting much traffic. Any ideas?

Hi Connor
I have analyzed both the website you are working on !
The page indexed and inbound links on Google and Yahoo for both website are negligible which shows the less visiblity of the websites on search Engines...Link building in many ways is the best wat to increase the ranking of websites
Deep link submissions
Social bookmarkings
Article Submissions
Directories submissions
Forum posting
Video submissions etc

Go through your old posts and look for opportunities to link from within the post to other related posts you’ve written more recently.
Thanks guys I appreciate it.
I guess Franklin says it all! In addition to Franklin's suggestion you can add to your link building by joining your site related forum. In most forums you are allowed to have a signature and in your signature you can put a link to your website.
oh ok thanks a lot you guys
Visit forums and mailing lists, and help other people by answering their questions, posting links to your site if they contain information relevant to your replies. Usually you are allowed to have a signature, where you can link to your site.
Since it was a new website try to introduce first the purpose and content of your site through article writing. Submit your articles in articles site like ezine article to get good numbers of traffic daily.
You can use trackbacks is really effective.I like blog commenting as well, but the problem is that many bloggers do not allow to put keywords in the name which results in that your link back will be your name, instead of your main keyword. However, you should check out this useful resource that i found: 9 Ways on How to Get Powerful Backlinks to Your Site or Blog ~ SEO | Make Money Online
Write press releases and use a proper distribution service like DWPUB, some of the cheaper and free distribution services are ok but make sure you get anchor text links. If you get your release right you can generate direct traffic and one way backlinks.
If you are serious about your site, I would like suggest you apply few SEO techniques,PPC campaign and social media marketing strategy, I hope you will get nice result!
In addition to all that page relevancy is a major factor to gain PR...
Let me expand on monz.. by page relevancy I think he means that it really helps to have relevant content. Your content should include the keywords you want to rank for as well as all the titles you post..if its a blog..and if its a website then fix meta keywords title of your webpage..etc to match what you want to rank for as well.
