I would say - whichever you are most comfortable with! The big names in CMS do pretty much the same job.

Try Mambo, Joomla and also try some of the blogging platforms like Wordpress and Typepad. Test them all out and see which one you like the most.

My personal preference when looking at CMS is to use Wordpress or Typepad as you can create static pages as well have a blog bolted on as standard.

I developed my website using Drupal. I personally feel drupal is one of the best content management systems available. Initially I tried developing my site using joomla but many of the non-commercial modules did not work properly. At one point of time I wanted to run a small php code in joomla and found it bit difficult with joomla.. You can call wordpress as just a bloggin tool and not as powerful as joomla or drupal...The best thing which I like about Drupal is that it is very good for SEO than joomla or wordpress.. Infact my drupal website is pretty new and got a page rank of 3 initially....Thee only problem which I find in drupal is that it dosen't have plenty of themes like joomla or wordpress and the learning curve is bit steep....

Well wordpress and joomla are the best CMS in my opinion because both are easy and have multiple themes and these are more seo friendly
