I have a site number one in yahoo.co.uk for the term "pink mobile phones" but it brings no reward are there really that few searches on Yahoo these days?

Its worth trying for no1 on Google, Yahoo, Bing & Ask... Also worth looking at the Yellow Pages if your in the right kinda industry for it.
I mean Google is where its at but the other SE's have their place too.
Of course it is, I get about 10% of my traffic from yahoo not much but it all helps![]()
I get some traffic from Yahoo and slightly more from Bing, but it isn't a question of is it worth it because although I prioritise Google rank, if this is achieved then it will usually happen on Yahoo and Bing as well, if not before Google in many cases.
Traffic is traffic, not to be sniffed at, but no1 in google will bring 10x no1 in Yahoo or bing. usually I get Yahoo no1 very quickly.
Personally I would concentrate on getting/maintaining #1 in Google. There in the meantime look into Yahoo, Bing, Ask etc. Traffic is traffic and all counts.

Yahoo gets about 10% of the traffic that Google gets, but its still worthwhile. Concentrate on your Google serps and usually yahoo and bing will follow. It certinaly has in my experience.
