I have a site that recently changed hosting and since then my listings on google have simply gone to URL only, including my home page - this was about 5 weeks ago and since then only about 50 out of 8000 pages have been indexed correctly with decriptions and titles - does anyone know how long it takes for google to re-index a site of this size?

Also, PR update had an impact on my home page from 4 to 5 - this is despite google not indexing my home page correctly (currently URL only) - can anyone explain this?

    Cheers

IMO google is broken at the moment.

Searches for a certain phrase brings up hundreds of websites which have trawled my site enough to get a description showing on their for google but not for the visitors. So I've reported a few dozen sites today.

    Yep Mogga , I agree

Some other sites are appearing well above us based on OUR content.

They are just spammers producing results on hundreds of keywords.

It's wrong that so many good content sites have been 'binned' in the lastest update but these junk sites continue.
