google seems to have about 375 of your pages spidered
Unsure whether to employ a search engine optimiser for site: http://www.homefitnessdirect.co.uk or to allow Google to naturally spider it and see what happens. We sell exercise and fitness equipment for the home including treadmills, bikes, cross trainers, weights and accessories, rowers etc. Any comments would be appreciated.

Jonathan,
Looking at your site I'd say there's not too much that you would need to do in order to make the actual content of the pages as good as they could be for Google.
A couple of small pointers:
- You have the same description meta tag for all pages - each meta tag should relate to the content of that page
- You could do with a bit more "body" text on the pages - i.e. on the trampoilines page it just lists the different types, such as "round trampolines" but there is no text to tell the user about what the different types actually mean and why they should choose them.
- Links - this is the most important thing you can do to increase your rankings
We have just launched a new service based on the lessons we learned from optimising CompareStorePrices.co.uk that helps clients such as yourself increase their rankings through linking. Feel free to send me a PM if you would like to discuss this further.
You may also be interested in listing your products on CompareStorePrices. You will get good exposure as we have high natural listings for terms such as "boxing equipment": http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...UK%7CcountryGB.
