All my site positions in google have just been put back about 4 pages, now my best ranking keywords are all now on page 4, so they may as well not be even in the index.

Im not talking about the site in my sig (thats new and not even in the serps), its another one of my ringtones site which has suffered :-(

.... ive noticed that ringtonesgalore is still rock sold at number 1 for nearly all of the ringtone keywords under the sun!!... Google must really love him.

The domains not even appearing on page 1 for its own namenow ... so i assume its some kind of penalty.

Has anyone else noticed any movements as from last night?

I've moved a little - some up some down - but nothing huge.

Just checked and about 10 sites de-indexed. Doesn't seem to be any pattern as to why. Most were PR3. Some few months old some much older.

    Anyone else had this?

The only pattern ive noticed is when i start PPC on them.

All my sites i started PPC on have been pushed back in the serps, then after i stopped ppc they have eventually come back.

Although this site has had ppc on it for a couple of months and only just been pushed back so it may not be the case here.

The site hasnt been altered apart from the usual updating of the products, the only thing is that ive informed google adwords that im a business, then a couple of days later the site is hit!!! <-- am i being paranoid.

how long have you noticed this change for? in my experience, sites moving 3-4 times a day, for up to a week is nothing unusual. google's next "proper" updated is predicted for jan. i wouldn't worry.

what type of site is it, content/ecomm? a lot of people reported a change in serps after using adwords. google specifically penalises what it thinks are ecomm sites over content sites. perhaps the adwords phrases you buy affect serps.. hmm? interesting

Well they were all affiliate sites with affiliate programs and a*sense, some had rss via an aggregator. The only thing they all had in common was a*sense.

What I can't understand is that g**gle bot keeps visiting, though no pages at all are now indexed.

does that mean i am banned, de-indexed or sandboxed?

A few of my sites just got hammered! I had position 1 or 2 on this one keyword for about 3 years and now I'm way down at number 57 on page 6! I'm not even listed for my other keywords, now all my traffic comes from Yahoo on that site

Another site seems to have got banned and I can't see why. I've filled in one of those google webmaster feedback forms, but that could take a while. All my traffic for this site now comes from MSN ie. just a trickle now.

I can't work this one out, I didn't change anything at my end, apart from consistently adding more and more relevant content.

Google is testing new results on some datacenters and today those test results have been live for many users. One can only hope that there will be changes because for me this looks worse than Jagger. I have ~50 different sites and all but one is filtered/penalized for some reason.

Since one of my sites was dropped from Google, I’ve had a record number of sales. Nearly all of this traffic is coming from MSN now and seems to be converting much better than Google ever did for the exact same keywords.

It feels good not being totally reliant on Google for once

I wonder if it's something to do with people getting new PC's for Xmas. Are Microsoft making MSN the default search engine for a new browser installations?

I have been working on yahoo more than google for months now, conversion rate for traffic from yahoo and msn is far more than google is. You get so much junk traffic from google from a sales point of view.

    Google can eerrrrmmm stick it
    Nothing to see here...
