    Hi everyone

I am a PPC affiliate promoting various merchants on different networks. I only started 6 weeks ago and I have been lucky in that I have done well from it, so far so good.

I have been looking around at all the PPC tracking software and it seems they all claim to be the best and will all suit my needs....hmmm???It seems that they are all geared up to website owners and they seem to only work if certain lines of code are put on the check-out pages of a website. perhaps I am missing something here as I want to track as a PPC affiliate.

I need to track all my campaigns on all the search engines down to keyword level to work out my ROI on individual keywords - Has anyone got any good tips on which one will be best for me? Something pretty simple and easy to use will suit me best!!!

    Ta

    Hi moogie,

I guess it depends on what exactly you want to track and how you link through to your merchants. Adwords has it's own conversion tracking, so it could tell you which KeyWords resulted in visits to merchants.

It's also worth looking at this thread, as if you code things correctly you could tell which KWs resulted in conversions.

With regrds to this issue, you could look at implementing a 'jump page' as your equivalent of a 'check-out' page. This would mean routing you affiliate links via this jump page, rather than directly to the merchant.

    Cheers Eskimo

This is useful, thanks for that. How does the Jump page work?
