I'm seeing some changes. Not sure how much though. Haven't really checked Google for a couple of weeks. Has anyone reported an official update on any well known Google forums if not maybe it's just a flux?

    Cheers,

Nice, down to 562 indexed pages from 150,000 a month or so ago. Seems this duplicated content filter is going into superdrive as well.

I wouldnt worry, seems it did this a while ago and we came bouncing back better than ever after a week or ten lol

Yahoo seems to be loving it though so i dont really care too much

Yeah my Y! and MSN rankings are racing on at present. G gets worse the others get better its strange

Im happy though as I hate G as everyone knows! Also feel at present that traffic which is coming from the other SE's is better.

    Anyone else finding this?

Will second that, seems the quality of traffic from yahoo in terms of actual sales is about 33% better. Which in traffic quality terms is a massive massive difference.

I'd agree that the quality of traffic from other engines tends to be better, the problem is that they still combined only seem to send about 20% of the traffic Google sends.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.

Yeah but Kbudden G might be sending lots which for some people unless they have unlimited bandwidth is costing them in aid of low conversions.

If for less bandwidth Y! and MSN send traffic through but is converting better then its more money in affiliates pockets.

Its back to the old scenario of it doesnt matter how many hits you get its what you conversions are in terms of sales, subscriptions, downloads etc.

On a personal level the most interesting datacenter for me at the moment is this one... http://66.249.93.104

For a while now it's been showing an increased of indexed pages and better rankings for many of my sites. Fingers crossed it sticks.

66.249.93.104 is a new type of Google datacenter, apparently due for release in 6 weeks or so. See http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/bigdaddy/ and http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/bigdaddy-on-the-move/

Add &meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB to urls to get an idea of UK results - not great for me.
