Pagerank and traffic

Hi

I have two quick question which have been bugging me, I have setup a website in October but still not received a pagerank, all the pagerank predictors say i will have a pagerank of 4 - 5 but this still after 3 - 4 months hasn’t been reflected and i am at 0. also a few days back i was crawled by Google, the following day and since my traffic has dropped by 50%

any ideas of the two questions

From what I can understand, PageRank is something to do with the number and quality of links back to your website. However, unfortunately I am not an SEO expert, and other users on this forum have a much better understanding of PageRank than I ever will!

There have been lots of similar topics to this in the forum. It may be worth searching for "pagerank" using the search tool at the top of the page.

If you want to have PR4, make sure that the sites that link to your have at least PR5

And if you want PR7, you will need to devellop a big authority with inbounds link from PR8 sites

Easy....well not so easy but possible!
