Is CPM advertising on Google Adwords similar to CPC in the way the more you pay, the more you get?
In my experience, you need to find the right balance/price to pay. Pay too much and your ads may be displayed all of the time-repeatedly in the 'bigger' format. Pay too little and they obviously won't be shown at all.
Sounds like a silly question, but I mean
am I going to receive more traffic if I pay a higher CPM? The campaign hasn't been activated yet deliberately, but no matter what I set my CPM at, it says "10,000 to 100,000", which isn't too useful.
This just means your ads will be shown more often. This may mean the same surfer to a site might see 3, 4 or 5 etc of your ads. Watch the sites you put your ads on. I recently advertised on one site and spent half my daily budget in 2 hours - for 13 clicks.
