Affiliate links showing in google listings

just did a serach on Google for "ipoints" and there is an affiliate link from affiliate window showing. No title, no description, nothing, and the affiliate in question isn't even a particularly big one for us.

Anyone seen this before and have any idea how it gets there, or if it stays about for long?

the seem to hang about for a while, also seems to be an AW thing, theres been some posts on it before. im guessing something to do with how AW redirect but not really sure.

Doesn't look like it's costing us anything significant yet so I'm not too worried, I'll keep an eye out though. Nice to know it's not something I've screwed up!

That happens for a few networks, but is actually Google gone bonkers for a couple of weeks. What has simply happened is Google been following an Affiliates site and instead of getting the site listed, Google listed the link instead. Not AW or the Affiliates fault and no harm to the Merchant, it will correct it’s self in time.

I once had it happen for me on the term “dixons” was number 1 for a month and do you know what I made.. not a lot actually, I was expecting loads all because Google fecked up but instead I made very little yet I had loads of clicks on the link, oh well was just one of them things.
