Hi do any of you use software to boost traffic to your site. I am using IBP8, have you heard of it and is it any good? If not what software do you use?

I have been told that it takes a long time for search engine submission to work. Any idea of how long this would take? I have submitted my websites to over 100 search engines about 2 months ago and I cant really see any change, is that normal?

To be honest, I don't think that kind of software will make any difference to your search engine results, I even hear that the likes of Google don't accept such submissions.

If you really want better results you are much better using your time and money learning what search engines are looking for. Content is king and excellent content with good keywords and meta tags is the easiest way to get better results.

Also consider learning about Back Links and how these play an importance in improving your Search engine results.

Using such programs may get your sites banned, be careful and consider learning some of the basics.

Sorry, don't want to seem harsh but I don't expect you to wait 2 months and really consider that waiting or re-using this program is going to improve anything.

I use IPB2 (Invision Power Board) to boost traffic to our sites

Seriously ... don't waste your time and money.
SES software can more cause problems, rather than use. Better add more
content to your site. Search engines want "food" (content) - give them what they want

Agree with the others, don't waste your time and money on submission software.

Add good content, make sure your site is "search engine friendly" and then try to exchange some on topic links to get you started.
The search engines will find your site via these links and you will be off the starting blocks.

I have IBP 9 and I must admit I didn't buy it for the submission, I prefer to do that by hand. I use it to optimise checking the top 10 results so I can change key areas on my page to reach top 10. It's worked fine so far.

ARELIS - part of IBP is very good for sourcing links..

if any of you have looked, IBP has a "semi-auto" submission feature for directories and such... It is basically automatic - auto complete.. Saves time and no different to doing it by hand.

It is always worth auto submitting to obscure search engines. It is not worth the time to do it by hand.. Of course - don't try and auto-submit to the big boys.
