yes I have used it, but Im not sure how much good it does...

one site completely ignore by google, one site its picked up some pages.. certainly it doesnt seem to use it for much...

There's been some discussion over at WMW that if you start using Google Sitemaps on your site then Google may find things wrong with your site that it had not noticed before.

This has resulted in many webmasters ending up with all their results going supplemental in the google SERPS.

I wonder if this extends to anything Google rolls out. "You don't get anything for nothing from Google" and that their always is a ulterior when Google give out something for free.
