Dumbest Question Ever!!!

Ok, probably about to attract much sniggering here - but if i have a blog, created on blogger.com, and submit it to Google, how do i know it has actually been picked up and indexed etc? is there a way to tell this?

any advice / info would be majorly appreciated! cheers in advance!

Go to google and type in the search box;
site:frostie.blogspot.com

but change frostie to your blog name.

ha! i knew it'd be a simple answer! ok, so at the moment, it comes up as no documents found etc etc, but once indexed, it'll return with my blog!

i was about to ask how long this takes, but did a search on these forums and found a few hundred posts on the same subject! - I guess its a fingers crossed job!

There is no such thing as a stupid question. If you don't ask you'll never know, which means not asking questions would make you stupid but you did ask so i guess you're a smart one.

hahahaha! yep, good advice to actually check the Google help pages! I spent last night searching through all the info Google actually gives you and found about 80% of my questions answered! talk about lesson learnt!
