    I've thought for a while that Google looks at actual site usage when determining rankings.

    Now there's evidence that they track which sites you go to and when:

    Is that not a feature of the "personalised search"? this is turned on by default when you are logged in with a google account.
    They try to give you relevant results based on your history searching.

    who knows what trickery and skullduggery they do with this info though!
