Me too!
I also had a website with very similar results to that when the World Cup was kicking about. I beat, Yahoo, BBC and FIFA to the number 1 position. I think this had something to do with the constant legal issues I had with FIFA![]()
I know it doesn't necessarily mean that much but I was pretty pleased to see tonight that for a pretty popular (and lucrative) term one of my sites is currently No 4 out of 25,270,000,000 results on Google(especially considering two of the sites above me are bbc.co.uk and yahoo.com)
Now if only I could get all my sites for all lucrative terms to be that high
And just to prove PR means nothing, it's only PR2
Oh - and it's got 9 totally undisguised affiliate links on the home page..
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
The above is even more pointless than Pagerank. No 4 out of 25,270,000,000 results on Google![]()
There are terms with hundreds of millions of results in google that get ZERO searches.
True - but fortunately this one does get searches![]()

25,270,000,000 - 'a pretty popular (and lucrative) term'
1,670,000,000 - google
118,000,000 - porn
In all seriousness though, however many tens of millions, congratulations on the result; that's one major achievement to know that you are up there with the biggest players competing for a visitor's attention on certain searches. Really found the podcast with Fraser helpful by the way. Lots to think about for affiliate newcomers like me.

Mike
