Yahoo/Overture Bogus Search Partners

Hi All,
I see in out UK account we were charged close to £2500 for one search term yesterday. The average traffic for this term is around 30 clicks per day, yesterday we were charged for 2300 clicks, quite a one day jump in traffic. We generated essentially zero commissions and clicks troughs for this fraudulent traffic. After looking at our logs, I see that most if not all the traffic came from the following sites:

http://uk.zsearcher.co.uk
http://butok.com
http://www.searchadv.com

Anyone have any history with these sites?

I’ve already submitted a refund request from Overture. Anyone have any luck with refunds from Overture? We’ve had refunds from “content” traffic, but have not had much luck with “search” traffic.

dksearch seems to ring a bell,

think I got pimped via a different search partner feed a while back off this domain..

according to nominet it's a "uk individial", funny how dubious sources usually seem to be an non disclosed uk individual or some fictitious crap huh.

Since some other search engines CPC rates have fell so rapidy due to dire traffic policing I guess it's only natural the dodgy click pimps will find ways of getting hold of an yahoo feed sooner or later.

far too many at it now out there ... I've had some dire traffic lately from a couple of PPC Search engines, ie 500 clicks inbound and 8 clicks on site on high comparison products, at the same time as the same keyword traffic from other PPC Search engine sources has yeilded from 200 to 450 clicks

you will be able to get a refund but you'll have to email them serveral times as they will fob you off at first.
