I wondered if anyone had any good resources they could recommend.....

I have been given the task of optimising a site in a foreign country (outside the UK).

We have an existing site that ranks well in the UK engines but we are intending to build a sister site solely for the purpose of gaining rankings (and business) in the country we have decided to branch into.

The site will be bilingual (Arabic/English) so I am hoping this will solve the problem of duplicate content. I have also recommended we host the site in Arabia and buy an 'ae' URL. However this is far as I have got! Can anyone help and offer any resources on this subject, have any tips or can advise things to be aware of.
