Can anyone cofirm if we have to make any contribution to get the £50 ??
As a big spender on Yahoo Search Marketing we received some credits to give away to people who want to try out their PPC system.
Most of you will have heard the system isn't near as slick as AdWords or adCenter but fact of the matter is it converts very well and it should definitely be in your PPC/Marketing mix.
So if you have been contemplating starting an account but have been putting it away now is your chance to kick start / try it out with £50 of someone else's money to squander. Great for a little X-Mas traffic boost!
I have 3 vouchers left - I just need your first name, last name and a valid email address. PM or post the details and you will get your £50 credit.
For the sake of transparency I should add that for every £50 we hand out we also get £50 credit in our account so yes, it's also self-promo. But affiliates nor merchants mind a bit of thatI'm not aware of any fine print like perhaps having to add funds yourself too so don't hold it against me but please post for other people's interest.

I can email that link to any interested parties via a referrer tool they emailed me. I don't have the plain link else I would have posted it. It's via a referer tool. 2 People have it already, one is going to post details of his findings soon.

I also have some of these £50 credits if anybody's interested.
PM me your first name, second name and email address if you're interested. I'll inform Yahoo and they'll email you a link which will ensure you get credited the £50.
Very cheeky I know, but I might have some clients that might be interested in this![]()
Thanks
Phil
What are you waiting for then?Go get them in here. BTW it seems like there's actually not a limit of 4 so don't think you're too late. Plenty left for all.

Okay, I took the offer up to receive the link, however, you have to place £60 on the account before it is activated, you then have to wait 10 days for the ads to be served and finally there is a minimum bid of £0.10 per click, so unfortunately I wont be taking the offer up as I see 10p a click minimum is likely to get me listed 2 or 3 pages deep, and some of the terms I used for a very short period on Google were only 3 - 5 pence (miss spellings, obscure keywords etc) I doubt I could make 10p a click pay at the average commission I get for a sale.

It's usually more like 2 or 3 days that you wait for adverts to be approved.

Yeah sounds good doesnt it 1100 clicks, trouble is the merchant I would have been promoting converts my natural traffic at a mere 1%, my average commission is just £3 a sale meaning that I stand to earn a hefty £33 from those 1100 clicks and £110. I know Im probably promoting the wrong merchant and the wrong products, but thats the site I have committed to (and on purely SERP traffic the sales simply help to pay for my server), I have another couple of sites in the pipeline but not with anything to promote through a PPC campaign yet.
It may be something I do later on, and will use your link if it is still valid then, but until then as I say unfortunately I will have to let it pass for now.
Mark.
p.s wasnt having a pop at you mate, whether they told you or not it is still a pretty good offer for those already in the PPC market and looking for something other than Adwords.
same on google and MSN. actually you can open an MSN US account and target the UK. then your minimum is 5c instead of 5p. In case of google it ' s rather theoretical 1c vs 1p. There wont be that many words you can get for 1c.

This is what it says in the email i got:
...a £50 credit could be all yours in moments with the absolute minimum of effort.
Just recommend the Yahoo! Search Marketing service to a relevant contact, and if they sign up you'll each receive £50 credit. It's that easy, and even better, the more people to whom you recommend Yahoo! Search Marketing, the more money you could receive. So recommend four people who sign up, and you'll receive a £200 credit to your Yahoo! Search Marketing account!
I can refer four people as well, if anyone is interested - are you sure you can do more than four referrals?
And yes, I'd also get £50 credit for each referral.
