I just checked one of my sites, and instead of text adverts I got an advert for Pioneer HD TVs come up. It looks all very good but I doubt CTR will be as high as text adverts.

Do image adverts run on CPM or CPC

If you are worried aout this loginto google and produce a new creative - you will get the option to omit image ads

I will monitor it, to see how it effects CTR but the advert is not so well linked to the content of the page as text adverts so i think i know it will decrease ctr.

I will take you advice to maybe change to text only.

The advertiser can choose either cpm or cpc,

I have been seeing video/flash advert as well lately as well - they look cool but do you get paid for people playing the video or just the clickthrough at the end of the ad?
