How many sites have a 10/10 page ranking. I have only ever seen one, so is there loads out there or is it just the elite few?
www.statcounter.com gets 10/10
Maybe we could learn something from them.

Are there any affiliates with sites ranking 8 or above? obviously you may not want to disclose the URL but it would be interesting to know...
I would be drop down astonished to see any affiliate site rank above seven - even seven would be a momentous acheivement (note - major price comparison excluded)
Yeh, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Although there must some pretty high ranking article sites that utilise affiliate links as a main source of income.
The Tech Zone, run by John Chow has a PR of 7, and that uses adsense and affiliate links as its main source of income.
this site lists 17 http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/pa...k-10-sites.php

At last a new site I launched 5 months ago has jumped overnight from 0/10 to 4/10. Now I am waiting to see what it does for the stats.
How often are the rankings updated?
Whats are you using to increase the page rank?
Are you simply exchanging links with people you, I've invested a lot of money through text link ads etc in the last week. I still have a page rank of 0 but many tools are telling me I have a rank of 2 why is that?
There's an update going on, so the many data centres have different info at present, it should settle down in a week then we won't see another update for a few months. If you invested last week, I wouldn't expect to see any difference off them until the next update - it's too late to effect the data that's coming out now.
Take the date of the last update (this backlinks and toolbar update started on the 10th) and add 100 days (updates that I've been aware of have always been between 90 -122 days)
This website is good for guideline dates:- http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/pa...date-list.html
But having said that, depending on the organic keywords your going for this doesn't really mean much. I've ranked on the first page of google with some relatively profitable keywords on a zero pagerank.

www.a4uforum.co.uk is on a 5 my site www.preventx.co.uk is also on a 5
I thought bbc would be a 10 but it's only a 9
Sites like www.microsoft.com are 10 - but even sites like ebay and Amazon are 8 - It's pretty touch to get a 10/10 PR!
