You need to come off a US IP. Find a US based proxy, and surf through that
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I cannot find any information on this matter:
I use PPC extensively on google. I am now considering branching out into the US markets, but the sponsored results I get always have a UK bias.
I know I can select US only in my adwords campaigns, and search 'the web' for the google search results, but I have no way of checking what the US competition is with regards to the search results due to this automatic selection of UK biased sponsored results.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can investigate the sponsored search results that US users get?
I hope that makes sense and someone has the answer!
Much Appreciated

Hi Bud,
Asked this question before here http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=48517
and Fraser posted the following URL
http://adwords.blogspot.com/2006/09/...ng-around.html.
So, when doing a search on google for summer holidays in google UK, the URL looks like this
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...G=Search&meta=
To see what US browsers are seeing for the same search change add gl=us to the end of the url like this
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...G=Search&gl=us
Think this is what you're looking for.

Adrian and Brendon thanks so much for your replies.
That is EXACTLY what I meant and the answer I was looking for.
I just knew someone must have asked this before but bugg***d if I could find it! (My search skills obviously need some improvement all round!)
Great help - I hope I'm able to return the favour someday....
Cheers
Bud
