    From email;

    In order to reflect the dynamics of the market, and to help you maximise your return on
    investment, Yahoo! Search Marketing is launching today a new minimum variable bid pricing
    structure.

    As of today, our bidding prices start from as little as £0.05.

    Now if only they could drop the editorial approval too, they might make some progress.

    nice to see a ppcse finally start thinking a bit in front, should make some people very happy, for a while at least lol.

    ok I know miva beat them to it and dropped some bids to 1p but traffic quality has been so dire on some terms that even at 1p instead of 10p it's impossible to make a profit.

    this is good news, have check see if the minimum bid has lower on any of my terms. Would be interesting to see what % of their terms people think they can actually reduce their bid for.

    I got excited until it said "5p for *some* keywords". I've yet to find one.

    how niche are these 5p keywords?- What's the CTR likely to be? And more importantly, the conversion ratio?
