    Hi Rourkey,

    Welcome to the forum.

If you spend your time developing a new tool i would look to develop a tool which is not currently available. There are already tons of spider simulators out there, which have been around for some years!

    E.g.

    http://www.spannerworks.com/seotoolk...ders-eye-view/
    http://www.webconfs.com/search-engin...-simulator.php
    http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/spider-simulator/
    http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/sea...imulator.shtml
    http://tools.seobook.com/general/spider-test/
    http://www.webuildpages.com/seo-tools/spider-test/

Also you tool doesn't seem to work at the moment, or is very slow.

Sorry to be negititve but i thought you should know.

    Hi spartacus

i was just looking at your code and it could be a syntax problem. Maybe where you've got single speech marks our spider might only recognise double quotes on your keywords.

    Alright, two things.

And as an "SEO assistant", you should already know this, but...

Link dropping in an affiliate marketing forum for fashion and computer memory websites isn't a very good idea. The sites are irrelevant, so the links won't be worth much to more advanced search engines (i.e. Google), and p*ss everybody off.

Secondly, one of the sites you linked to (the only one I bothered clicking, and my suspicions were correct) isn't even optimised for the phrase "handbags". As if that's not already a competitive enough phrase as it is!

Not a good advert for summit media at all - wonder what they'd say if I contacted them(!)

Get some SEO knowledge and don't link drop. Have a nice day!

    - take into account nofollow/noindex
    - robots.txt
    - h2/h3?
    - bold/italic/underline
    - code/content ratio is a good one

take the top 3/4 key PHRASES (not keywords as single words are much less searched nowadays) and do a density analysis on them in all the criteria

bit of an old thread - but could do with some work
