theres a free version that only gives keyword results for alta-vista, but the paid version gives results for all the majors.
Pays for itself after the first campaign
I've been trying to find what other sites have been specifically optimised for some niches I'm looking at.
I was using a tool from seobook that checks on sites with allintitle:"search phrase" but it's gone very wobbly. e.g. the results say there are 8 results, I click on the link to see them, and 38 come up.
Does anyone know if there are any other sites or software tools that can do this, and preferably give counts of allintext results as well? I can do it manually but that'll take forever.
Doesn't really matter if it's based on Google, Yahoo or MSN, it's just for a rough idea across a load of phrases before I dig deeper.

It's the detail on the 'optimised' competitor numbers rather than the search volumes I'm after. The KEI stuff that Wordtracker churns out just give you numbers of pages with the terms on it, no indication of how tough the top slot is.
I had a play with Web CEO which seems to give numbers a lot closer to the ones Yahoo & Google display, so a combination of Wordtracker, IBP and Web CEO got me where I wanted after a bit of excel jiggery pokery.
Hi
Try doing a Google on a product called Niche Inspector. It will do what you want and more. It's a bit costly but if you are serious about building Niche sites then this little puppy will save you time and hopefully pay for itself very quickly.
