Wondering how much you guys charge for link building campaigns & seo services?

Have a potential customer/company interested and not sure how much to charge?!

Prices are usually charged per the PR of the website that the link is from, I have seen prices for a link from a PR5 website for up to $150 per month. So if you are charging your client and you get charged, you need to incorporate the costs.

Just do a search on G, for a few ideas on what others charge.

Have a poke round http://www.text-link-ads.com/ that should give you an idea of the cost per-link

If you are after how much the total budget should be that's a bit harder. Have a look at the sites in the top slots for the terms you're after and look at the backlinks they're getting to see what your client needs to match them and you should get a feel for it.

A bit vague, but I'm sure guys like Brendon & Lee can give a better answer than me though.

Hi matt,

Doing this for a client I would normally work on an hourly rate and specify hours per month needed.

i.e.

8 hours link building
10 Hours SEO
4 Hours on articles (
4 Hours Maintainance

total 26 hours @ your hourly rate (i tend to aim at around £15-£20 as most customers are SME's and not a thriving business area)

if you over estimate a little you can then trim back on articles or something to bring the price in a little, but not too much tho', if the price is 2 high for them then they need to re-evaluate the value of their site(or the potential value)

Well there are different packages SEO and Link building. It depends on you to select a best suitable package for SEO.

ok thanks guys got a figure in my mind plan is to redo their site (design and seo), and start a link building campaign.

for some reason emails arent getting through when this thread gets a reply, think its my server blocking/deleting it!!
