    I'm thinking of creating a sub-domain; something like www.offers.mywebsite.com.
Will Google view it as a totally new website with a starting PR of 0, or will it inherit the parent site's PR?

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure that goggle will view it as a completly new website and give it PR 0.

Initally PR0, but if it's got links from the root domain (or anywhere else, in fact) it will rapidly acquire it's own PR, same as any other site
