Affilistore / Feed-based sites indexing

I'm experimenting with an Affilistore driven site using a couple of data feeds. I've been following its progress in Google over the first week of its life using Google Webmaster Tools. I've seen the number of indexed pages slowly increase by a couple a day up to 12 pages (should be more like 80-100) and now it's decreasing back down to only 4.

Is this likely to be a duplicate content issue because of using product feeds? Is this a hazard of using feed based sites?

Just checked one of mine and there's a couple of hundred in there,but then I've got a handful of unique articles and news items on it which probably helps.

Yea, I'm the same, all being indexed fine.

Have you a robots.txt file, sitemap.xml file, RSS feed?

Yeah I've got all those.

My numbers are going back up again this morning. Maybe just a glitch in the Google matrix.

Quick question about v1.1, will the skins from 1.0 work without modification?

I think I may have figured out my original problem. The few links that Google has indexed are of the form index.php?param=value etc whereas the site is using the HTML URL feature. I think Google must have started indexing the site while I was still playing around with the options. I've pinged them with a new sitemap so hopefully the correct URLs will get indexed in the next few days.
