other peoples php would be a bit no no for me..

Hi,
I just came across the site toptenserps.com on another post of the forum. I've never used a website like this to manage my linking for me and I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this... Thinks it's a good/bad idea etc. I hate link building and have a site that used to do quite well in Google, but now gets virtually no traffic. So was thinking about 'experimenting' with this free service to see if it helps. I guess I'm a bit worried about any residual damage that they could do if they upset Google. Not only for the site I'm 'experimenting' with (that site is dead anyway) but with other sites on my IP/server or that I link to via the site.
It sounds fantastic in principle though, I'm just uneasy about adding someone elses PHP code to my site!
Anyway I'd be interested to hear thoughts / opinions.
Thanks,
Tom

Don't let other people manage your linking unless they are a professional outfit (!?) They will use your site as a resource to link to others not to promote yours and god knows what is in the php script!
Can't even load the site toptenserps.com which tells you something![]()
Sorry that's my fault I got the domain wrong toptenserp . com
Hello,
Sorry to jump in on this thread.
Who are the professional companies who really understand the do's and don’ts of link building?
Relevancy, one way, different link texts, not just directories, different descriptions etc
I could do with some assistance due to lack of time, have a small budget that will increase over time
Can we start a list of companies: recomendations and ones to stay away from?
