Finding your Google ranking without manual Intervention

Bonjour from medieval York...

Ok heres my question...

I want to know how well my site fares when I type in a keyphrase in google. I find after much serp seraching that I'm 40th in the organic rankings but that too k me 20mins to find.

is there a quick way to find what your web site SERP is when you enter your phrase rather than maunually searching?

Any insights welcome :-)

there are a number of automated tools out there, but all have their pitfalls...one way of doing this - if you're not looking at huge numbers of kw;s is to set your prefs to display 100 results per page, then ctrl + f your domain on the page...certainly quicker than 20 minutes, imo..
