Hi,

For all those who wish to check the number of backlinks, anchor text and PR of a link pointing to your site then try this:

SEO Tools. Link Checker. Check Backlinks for PR, Anchor & Nofollow

For me, it's incredibly inaccurate.

Some sites it's showing as having no backlinks, although there are at least 50 and are displayed by Google and Yahoo.

My biggest site which has over 900 backlinks, it's showing about 120.

I use SearchStatus for checking Backlinks, meta tags, Keyword Density on any page, no. of indexed pages,nofollow links. Its a Mozilla add-on and is very very handy tool.

I just checked one of my sites - I know there must be around 100 backlinks. The above link doesn't show any, while google shows 5!

Slow but it was worth it - quoted me with 313 links - better than the 0 or 5 as in google

Thats 313 links from unique domains. So if you had two from bbc.co.uk it would only count as one.
