I have spent £300 in 2 days with google adwords and the only enquiry I got was a company offering me services that I already provide!

is there something wrong with my new site?

a second opinion would be fantastic

    Two things that would put me off;

    - Site has no Pagerank

    - You've listed a price of 'less than £25 per hour', but no shown any 'real world' examples of what I could expect to be paying each month. I would expect to get someone that really knows their stuff at that price, but there are no examples to back that up.

Put off by the spelling mistake on the homepage "Less than £25 an hour" not "that"
Try making contact information more prominent with a phone number on the homepage or something. Also, whilst quite nice, there is little information above the fold and I'm using a high resolution (1280 x 1024).

I would agree with the others - there is too little information above the fold.

Also when I do a search in Google for Veniti or Veniti Search Engine Optimisation you don't appear on the first page of results at all - not a good sign of how good your SEO skills are.

I rarely click on Ads but would never use them for SEO services. My view is that I only want to deal with SEO Experts and if they can't get on to G's first page then they're not that good. The alternative is that they're new and perhaps untested. None of these comments are aimed at you, just trying to explain from a customers angle.

You need some testimonials and references

Offer to do some work for someone for free. And they'll give you a glowing tribute if you're any good.

    Hi All,

    thanks for the replies.

spelling mistake will be corrected now, thanks for pointing that out.

Also the site is brand new, hence the reason it hasnt been crawled by google as yet, but i have an extensive link building campaign, so i should get indexed within a week or 2.

Page Rank again the site has not yet been crawled by google, so i guess thats a matter of time again.

with regards to above the fold, would you suggest that I put a freephone number there?

many thanks for your suggestions they are appreciated.

thats an idea, i do have a few sites I have optimised and they in the top 3, so I think I'll add another page.

I don't think I could go as far as FREE (we all need to eat) but i suppose I could do a couple of sites for the cost of the links

    Thanks

Aren't you SEO experts meant to do free links?
I've got some sites that could do with some work if you're looking for volunteers.

If you've got an extensive link building campaign and they are from decent sites you should get indexed in 24 hours at most.

    Numerous problems:

I would put your selling point / value proposition higher on page. Your most prominent text 'Innovative ways to make communication easy' doesn't convey what is so good about your service.

Think about who is visiting your website and the wording of your selling points. For example if I had no knowledge about SEO and found your website it would be too technical for various reasons:

    A) What is an SEO 'engineer'?
    B) Is less than £25 per hour a good rate?

You're selling your services based on price however is that the main motivation for people stumbling onto your website? Is it the first thought in their mind i.e where can I find the cheapest SEO services.

I would imagine, for the majority of people the first thought going through their mind when finding your business would instead be:

I believe SEO can help my website, how can this company help me?

Have a look at Grokdotcom, Copyblogger, and the ROI column of clickz. All good resources on conversation rates - look into 'personas' which might help.
