what do you think about a directory of sites that are willing to swap links? It would definitely save time hunting around the internet and you know that these people want to swap when you contact them.

    Would you use them?

Thanks you two. So I guess it's not worth my while starting one if you consider it adequately covered <G>

hmm - quickly looking I see that linkmetro, although a co.uk site, is not exclusive uk sites, which means you have a bit extra leg-work to find exclusive uk, although UK Link Exchange appears to be so.

Reciprocal links still help in most cases, except where the site you are linking to gets a penalty - then you're linking to a bad neighbourhood

I would be more inclined in building one-way links than reciprocal links for now - You'll get more SEO benefits that way.
