Hi Ken
Yeah we get some good traffic from image searches sometimes - problem is generally people are after stealing the images rather than the content of your site, but hey, traffic is traffic!!
Some of you might already know this, but from my site: dj-music.org.uk, I've been getting good traffic from normal searches (esp. for 'pacemaker review', and 'pacemaker editor')
Anyways, I was looking though my stats and noticed I was getting a lot of inbounds from where people have searched from images in Google (Google Image Search, the thing that surprised me was in Google images, my site had an image ranking on the second page of Google for the term 'DJ' ...amazing () dj - Google Image Search.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is it normal? is there anyway I can take advantage of this?
Thanks in advance!
Ken

Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
By filling out the ALT and the NAME properties for an image, you can really increase your SERP as Google likes to index those too... although try to avoid any long tailed keywords, as it makes it REALLY irritating for people that might mouse hover
Another good tip: use one of the many anti-piracy services out there. They cost but will help stop the theft of any copyright info on your site.
